adding custom audio to cartoon character

I started testing Lectora a short while ago to prep for a job transfer. At the time the gig fell thru, but just happened a couple weeks ago. I’m trying to get my boss to agree to purchase Lectora and am trying to “quickly” put together a simple short demo / example.

One thing I want to do, which I could have sworn I did before, is add an animated character (cartoon) and attach custom audio to it. I can’t for the life of me remember how I did that before.

I thought I had a cartoon character in a project, opened some properties window -> recorded audio and as I spoke the mouth of the cartoon character moved… I can’t even find where the characters are now…

I’m testing with version 11 (8835)

does anybody have advice?

thanx

Altarium I was able to do this by, while on the slide I wanted the character. I opened up the stock library (pull out menu tab on right of the workspace) -> select flash (Make sure that’s installed :)) selected a character. I had three. One standard and then a couple that looks like they'll point to bullets. After you do that a new window will open for config.

On that window along the bottom there are 4 buttons. Back, Next, Finish, and Cancel. For the most part those are pretty straight forward. BUT if you click next there are a few more screens, one of which will allow you to add audio to the character.. It’s not 100% perfect.. But I think it adds a nice touch..

Hope that helps..

I haven't done much with the characters in Lectora, but if you have a place that can accomplish that, let me know! I'd be very interested in using that in some of my courses!

This might be a "Never Mind" :)

thanks! I now realize that all my stock flash objects are missing... either I'm looking in all the wrong places or something happened to them, because they aren't there anymore!
