Add Captions (Video) - Options Grayed Out
January 17, 2023 12:00 AM
Hello!
Brand new to Lectora and it's much more sophisticated than Captivate! I'm playing around with closed captions. I've uploaded a video and .srt file. However, in the section to upload the .srt file, these options—Display Caption Box, Color, and Opacity—are grayed out.
1 - Does this mean I can should be able to change the color and opacity of the CC box? The articles I've come across seem to imply that it's not easy. I need to modify the .srt file but when I've tried, the changes aren't reflected.
2 - Do those options apply to mp4 or only mp3?
Thanks!

It is not available when adding a cc file to a video.

Hello
,
Thank you for responding. I did enabled it by default but it doesn't change anything. Those boxes are still grayed out. Does the file type matter?
