Action Variables Retain Between Sessions

Between sessions means the learner exits the course and starts it again. This setting has NO effect on a variable while the course is running - that is the variable value is always retained while the course is running. If you check this box, when the learner exits and returns it is supposed to restore the last value. If you do not check this box, when the learner returns it is set to its Initial value. How does the learner launch the course? From an LMS? From a LAN? If from an LMS then the LMS is supposed to be retaining the variable values. If from a LAN or from a folder they downloaded, then how many variables are you retaining?As an aside, Lectora uses variables. Nothing clearly makes them an integer. They can contain numbers or decimal fractions or letters.
