Action Group and Initial Launch,

Hi, Randy -In answer to question 1, you'd need to create an action to increment a variable On Show and place that action so that it occurs *after* the action group has triggered. Then you need to have a condition on whatever it is that triggers your action group that the variable needs to *not* be whatever its initial value was. (So, for example, if you set the variable's initial value to 1, then, in the condition, you'd tell the action that triggers the action group only to do that if the variable's value is 1.)As for question 2, again, you can set a variable to track this and tell Lectora to retain that variable between sessions. However, I think the retained variables are retained on the hard drive, so, if the learner is using the course from a different computer, it may not "remember" him. Also, there may be better ways (and retained variables *may* work differently) if you're launching the Lectora course from within an LMS. Unfortunately, I don't have enough experience with LMSs to be of much help there. I don't know the answer to your third question, but I would guess it initializes the variables before it runs anything in the flowline. But that's just a pure guess...Laura
