Ability to test out of title

My thoughts were that the student chooses to take the "Test-Out" test and if they pass, I change the score of the final test via changing the variable to a passing score. What I am hung up on is that you can only have one test in a SCORM course to report to the LMS. If I create a "Test-Out" test and a "Final" test, I now have two tests and the course will report both combined for final test score.What trickery can I perform so that the "Test-Out" test doesn't report to the LMS. The "Test-Out" test will simply edit the variable the "Final" test will send to the LMS. This way, If they fail the "Test-Out" test I can send them through the course and make them take the final test without any Fails being sent to the LMS. If they pass, I just send the Pass to the LMS.Does that make sense?
