Not directly. You have to export them - File menu > Export > XML and then import in 2006. Of course any new features are dropped. Sometimes it does not all get converted. I had one that dropped a common action I use in my questions - about 40 of them. You have to check very closely. However, I have converted many times successfully with no problem.Not directly.
